धर्म-शास्त्रों के अनुसार ऐसा माना जाता है एक मुखी रुद्राक्ष साक्षात भगवान शिव का अवतार है। इसके धारण करने से व्यक्ति जीवन के सभी कष्ट व संकट दूर हो जाते हैं। इसके साथ ही एक मुखी रुद्राक्ष व्यक्ति जीवन के अंधकार को दूर कर उसमें प्रकाश पुंज भरता है। मात्र इतना ही नहीं इस रुद्राक्ष को पहनने से ब्रह्म हत्या के समान पापों से भी मुक्ति मिलती है और व्यक्ति मोह माया के जाल से ऊपर उठ जाता है।

पद्म पुराण के 57वें अध्याय में 38-39वाँ श्लोक में एक मुखी रुद्राक्ष के महत्व को बताते हुए कहा गया है कि, “एक मुखी रुद्राक्ष भगवान शिव का स्वरूप है जो समस्त पापों का नाश करता है। अतः इसके धारण करने से व्यक्ति को स्वर्ग लोक और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है। हे कार्तिकेय! एक मुखी रुद्राक्ष को वही व्यक्ति धारण करने के योग्य होगा जो धार्मिक रूप से विश्वसनीय, शिव की कृपा और कैलाश पर्वत को प्राप्त कर सके”।
According to the scriptures, it is believed that a Mukhi Rudraksha is actually an incarnation of Lord Shiva. By wearing it, all the troubles and crises of a person’s life are removed. With this, a Mukhi Rudraksha person removes the darkness of life and fills a light beam in it. Not only this, wearing this Rudraksh also gives freedom from sins similar to killing Brahman and the person rises above the trap of fascination.Verse 38-39 in the 57th chapter of the Padma Purana states the importance of a Mukhi Rudraksha in verse 38, stating, “A Mukhi Rudraksha is the form of Lord Shiva who destroys all sins. Therefore, by wearing it, one gets heaven and salvation. Hey Karthikeya! A Mukhi Rudraksha will be able to bear the same person who is religiously reliable, can receive the grace of Shiva and Mount Kailash ”.
