स्फटिक को अंग्रेज़ी में रॉक क्रिस्टल, संस्कृत में सितोपल, शिवप्रिय, कांचमणि और फिटक आदि कहते हैं। कहते हैं कि यह सिलिकॉन और ऑक्सीज़न के एटम्स के मिलने से बनता है। यह बर्फ के समान पारदर्शी और सफेद होता है। दरअसल, स्फटिक एक रंगहीन, पारदर्शी, निर्मल पत्थर होता है जो कि सफेद रंग का चमकदार दिखाई देता है।
What is crystal?
Sphatik is called rock crystal in English, Sitopal in Sanskrit, Shivpriya, Kanchmani and Fitak etc. It is said that it is formed by the mixing of atoms of silicon and oxygen. It is transparent and white like snow. Actually, rhinestone is a colorless, transparent, clear stone that appears shiny white in color.
